Scope of inspection

 

Applicable coating types: Suitable for various metal coatings, alloy coatings, and inorganic conversion coatings such as electroplating, chemical plating, hot-dip coating, vacuum coating, spraying, anodizing, phosphating, passivation, etc.

Applicable substrate materials: including steel, copper and copper alloys, aluminum and aluminum alloys, zinc alloys, plastics, ceramics, and other substrate surface coatings.

Applicable workpiece objects: covering various plated finished and semi-finished products such as fasteners, decorative parts, electronic components, hardware products, structural parts, pipelines, profiles, etc.

Inspection purpose: Used for product acceptance, production process quality control, plating process verification, product quality arbitration, and failure analysis.

 

Inspection Item

 

Measurement of total coating thickness: Determine the total thickness of a single layer or composite coating.
Layered thickness detection: For multi-layer composite coatings, measure the thickness of each individual layer separately.
Thickness uniformity assessment: Measure local thickness, minimum thickness, maximum thickness, and average thickness to evaluate the uniformity of the coating.
Measurement of conversion film thickness: detect the thickness of non-metallic film layers such as anodic oxide film, phosphating film, passivation film, etc.
Section thickness verification: The metallographic method is used to accurately measure and arbitrate the thickness of the coating section.
