Scope of inspection
Applicable materials: Suitable for black metals such as steel and cast iron, as well as non-ferrous metals and their alloys such as aluminum, copper, titanium, magnesium, zinc, etc.
Applicable products: including plates, bars, profiles, pipes, wires, forgings, castings, welded parts, mechanical components, and various heat-treated parts.
Applicable states: including casting, cold and hot processing, annealing, normalizing, quenching and tempering, solid solution, aging, surface chemical heat treatment and other process states.
Inspection purpose: Used for material incoming acceptance, production process validation, heat treatment quality assessment, product quality control, failure analysis, and arbitration inspection.
Inspection Item
Matrix structure determination: Identify the composition of ferrite, pearlite, martensite, austenite, bainite, cementite, eutectic structure, precipitated phases, intermetallic compounds, and other structures.
Grain size assessment: Determine the average grain size, recrystallized grain size, and evaluate grain size and uniformity.
Microscopic defect detection: Check for non-metallic inclusions, microcracks, porosity, porosity, segregation, banded structure, reticular structure, overburning, overheating and other defects.
Heat treatment organization evaluation: Determine whether the organization after quenching, tempering, solution treatment, aging and other heat treatments meets the requirements.
Surface treatment organization inspection: detect the morphology and depth of decarburization layer, carburizing layer, nitriding layer, coating, oxide film and other tissues.
Welding organization inspection: Analyze the microstructure of welds, fusion zones, heat affected zones, and micro welding defects.
Casting and deformation microstructure evaluation: observe microstructure characteristics such as dendrites, deformation streamlines, recrystallization, and mixed crystals.
