Scope of inspection
Applicable materials: Suitable for various types of steel such as carbon steel, alloy steel, spring steel, bearing steel, tool steel, structural steel, etc.
Applicable products: including steel bars, plates, wires, profiles, forgings, and mechanical parts in heat treatment states such as hot rolling, forging, cold drawing, annealing, normalizing, and quenching.
Inspection purpose: Used for steel incoming acceptance, heat treatment process verification, surface quality control, part performance evaluation, and failure analysis.

Depth detection of fully decarburized layer: Determine the depth of ferrite areas with completely carbon free surface.
Half decarburization layer depth detection: Determine the depth of the transition zone where the carbon content is lower than the normal content of the substrate.
Total decarburization layer depth determination: Determine the sum of the depths of the fully decarburized layer and the partially decarburized layer.
Assessment of decarburization layer uniformity: Test the uniformity of decarburization layer depth in different parts of the sample.
