Scope of inspection
Applicable materials: covering various types of aluminum and aluminum alloy materials such as 1-9 series deformed aluminum alloys, cast aluminum alloys, forged aluminum alloys, aluminum lithium alloys, etc.
Applicable workpieces: Suitable for aluminum alloy sheets, rods, profiles, pipes, wires, castings, forgings, stamped parts, welded parts, and products in different heat treatment states.
Inspection purpose: Used for material incoming acceptance, production process quality control, casting/deformation/heat treatment/welding process verification, product failure analysis, and metallographic quality qualification judgment.
Inspection Item
Grain size assessment: Determine the average grain size and recrystallized grain size, evaluate grain uniformity and degree of recrystallization.
Matrix organization inspection: Identify the microstructure composition of aluminum matrix, precipitated phases, eutectic phases, and evaluate the phase content, morphology, and distribution.
Casting organization inspection: Check for casting defects such as dendrite size, looseness, pinholes, segregation, porosity, and slag inclusion.
Deformation and Recrystallization Structure: Determine the cold deformation fiber structure, recrystallization ratio, mixed crystal, and abnormal structure.
Metallographic examination of welding: detecting changes in weld microstructure, heat affected zone microstructure, and welding defects.
Heat treatment organization evaluation: Verify the effects of heat treatment processes such as solid solution, annealing, and aging, and determine abnormalities such as overburning and undersolid solution.
Microscopic defect detection: Check for non-metallic inclusions, cracks, oxide films, abnormal grain boundaries, and other defects.
