Applicable products: General grade polystyrene (GPPS), high impact polystyrene (HIPS), expandable polystyrene (EPS), modified polystyrene, and various PS injection molded, vacuum formed, and foamed products.

Testing items
Appearance and condition: particle color, uniformity, impurities, black spots, crystal dots; Appearance, color difference, deformation, cracking, whitening, and glossiness of the product.
Physical and chemical properties: melt mass flow rate (MFR), density, ash content, volatile matter, moisture content, moisture content.
Mechanical properties: tensile strength, elongation at break, flexural strength, flexural modulus, impact strength of simply supported/cantilever beams, Rockwell hardness, compressive strength.
Thermal properties: melting temperature, Vicat softening temperature, hot deformation temperature, embrittlement temperature, thermal stability, and thermal oxidative aging performance.
Optical performance: transmittance, haze, glossiness (applicable to transparent GPPS).
Environmental resistance: resistant to chemical reagents, oil, water, UV aging, weather aging, and stress cracking.
Processing performance: molding shrinkage rate, melt index stability, processing thermal stability, and resistance to yellowing.
Environmental Protection and Safety: Migration of Harmful Substances in Food Contact, Heavy Metals RoHS, Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, combustion performance, odor, microbial limits.
