(1) Appearance and physical and chemical properties
Appearance: Particle color, uniformity, impurities, black spots; Appearance, bubbles, pinholes, deformation, color difference, and weld marks of the product.
Physical and chemical properties: density, melt mass flow rate (MFR), ash content, moisture content, volatile matter content.
(2) Mechanical properties
Tensile strength, elongation at break, yield strength.
Bending strength and bending modulus.
Impact strength of simply supported beams/cantilever beams (at room temperature and low temperature).
Hardness, compression performance, tear strength, puncture resistance.
(3) Thermal properties
Vicat softening temperature and thermal deformation temperature.
Melting temperature and oxidation induction period (OIT).
Thermal stability, heat and oxygen aging resistance, and temperature resistance.
(4) Environment and medium resistance performance
Environmental Stress Cracking Resistance (ESCR).
Resistant to high and low temperatures, water, oil, and chemical reagents.
Weather resistance, UV aging, xenon lamp aging, and humid heat aging.
(5) Processing and Product Performance
Shrinkage rate and dimensional stability during molding.
Film: haze, transmittance, glossiness, heat sealing strength, heat shrinkage rate.
Pipe material: static hydraulic strength, burst pressure, long-term static hydraulic performance.
Barrier performance: breathability, moisture permeability.
(6) Environmental Protection and Safety Performance
Food contact: total migration, heavy metals, sensory perception, odor.
Environmental Protection: RoHS, Halogens, Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons VOC.
Combustion performance: oxygen index, vertical/horizontal combustion.
