Scope of inspection
Applicable materials: Suitable for various types of titanium and titanium alloys such as industrial pure titanium, alpha titanium alloys, alpha+beta titanium alloys, beta titanium alloys, etc.
Applicable objects: including titanium and titanium alloy plates, rods, wires, pipes, forgings, castings, fasteners, structural components, as well as titanium products for aerospace, medical, and chemical industries.
Applicable states: including various heat treatment and processing states such as hot rolling, cold rolling, annealing, solid solution, aging, etc.
Inspection purpose: Used for material grade identification, incoming material acceptance, inventory classification, engineering quality inspection, spare parts replacement confirmation, failure analysis and material judgment.
Inspection Item
Quantitative detection of chemical composition: Determine the content of titanium matrix, as well as the content of alloy elements such as aluminum, vanadium, molybdenum, tin, zirconium, niobium, etc., and detect the content of impurity elements such as iron, oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon, etc.
Microstructure examination: Determine the type, morphology, and distribution of α - phase, β - phase, and α+β - phase tissues, and distinguish tissue categories.
Hardness testing: Measuring Vickers hardness and Brinell hardness to assist in determining the grade and heat treatment status.
Mechanical performance auxiliary evaluation: testing tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, used for grade review.
Grade comparison and determination: Compare the composition, structure, and properties with standard grades to determine the grade of titanium and titanium alloys.
Organizational uniformity inspection: Observe whether the organization is uniform, whether there are any abnormal tissues, segregation and other defects.
