Product Introduction

Detection range
Applicable materials: Suitable for ferrous metals (carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, etc.), non-ferrous metals (aluminum and aluminum alloys, copper and copper alloys, magnesium and magnesium alloys, etc.), metal coatings, non-metallic materials (composite materials, polymer materials, etc.), and various metal and non-metal assemblies.
Applicable objects: covering marine engineering equipment, ship and marine facility components, coastal building structural components, port machinery, petrochemical equipment, marine wind power equipment, coastal power facilities, and various metal components and products exposed to the marine environment.
Applicable environmental simulation: including simulation detection of different marine environmental areas such as oceanic atmospheric zone, splash zone, tidal range zone, fully immersed zone, deep-sea zone, etc. It can simulate complex marine corrosion conditions such as different salinities, temperatures, pH values, flow rates, and marine organism attachment.
Testing purpose: Used for evaluating the marine corrosion resistance of materials and components, screening corrosion-resistant materials, verifying the performance of protective coatings, optimizing product design, failure analysis, quality control, and durability prediction.
Testing items
Corrosion rate test: Determine the uniform corrosion rate of materials in simulated seawater environment by weight method, electrochemical method, etc., and evaluate the corrosion resistance of materials.
Local corrosion detection: detect the types and degrees of local corrosion such as pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and corrosion fatigue.
Electrochemical performance testing: including dynamic potential polarization curve, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, linear polarization resistance, etc., to analyze the electrochemical behavior of material corrosion.
Corrosion product analysis: X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and other methods are used to analyze the composition, structure and morphology characteristics of corrosion products.
Salt spray test: including neutral salt spray (NSS), acetate salt spray (ASS), copper accelerated acetate salt spray (CASS) and other accelerated corrosion tests, to evaluate the salt spray corrosion resistance of materials and coatings.

Cyclic corrosion test: a dry/wet cyclic accelerated corrosion test containing artificial seawater sedimentation salt process, simulating the wet dry alternating corrosion conditions in real marine environments.
Simulated marine environment immersion test: a long-term immersion test under specific marine environmental conditions such as simulated splash zone, tidal range zone, and full immersion zone.
Corrosion protection effect evaluation: Evaluate the protective effect and durability of various anti-corrosion measures such as coatings, corrosion inhibitors, cathodic protection, etc.
