Mechanical properties: Stiffness, hardness, toughness, plasticity, compressive strength;

Thermal properties: Thermal conductivity, expansion coefficient, chemical stability, dimensional stability;

Electrical properties: Conductivity, breakdown voltage or breakdown strength, insulation resistance, dielectric constant; Chemical properties: Resistance to acid and alkali, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, etc.;
