Nonferrous Metal Detection

Applicable materials: Suitable for various non-ferrous metals and their alloy materials such as aluminum and aluminum alloys, copper and copper alloys, magnesium and magnesium alloys, titanium and titanium alloys, zinc and zinc alloys, tin and tin alloys, nickel and nickel alloys, lead and lead alloys, etc.

Applicable objects: including non-ferrous metal sheets, rods, pipes, profiles, wires, strips, forgings, castings, die-casting parts, fasteners, structural parts, and various non-ferrous metal product components.

Applicable states: including as cast, hot working, cold working, annealing, solid solution, aging and other processing and heat treatment states.

Testing purpose: Used for incoming material acceptance of non-ferrous metals, chemical composition review, material grade identification, production quality control, mechanical performance evaluation, microstructure inspection, failure analysis, and engineering quality acceptance.

Chemical composition testing: Determine the content of non-ferrous metal matrix elements, alloy elements, and harmful impurity elements to determine the conformity of composition.

Microstructure testing: inspecting grain size, phase composition, casting/deformation/recrystallization structure, detecting micro defects such as inclusions, porosity, porosity, segregation, cracks, etc.

Mechanical performance testing: testing mechanical indicators such as tensile strength, yield strength, elongation at break, hardness, impact toughness, etc.

Process performance testing: Conduct process performance evaluations such as bending, flattening, expanding, and welding processes.

Non destructive testing: Conduct internal and surface defect detection using ultrasonic, penetrant, radiographic, and other methods.

Grade identification: Determine the specific grade of non-ferrous metals based on the composition, organization, and performance comparison of standard grades.
